Playoff tickets for the 2008 Florida State League Championship are available now. Daytona will host games at Jackie Robinson Ballpark Sept. 8-10. For ticket information call 386-257-3172 or visit www.daytonacubs.com. The Cubs ticket office will be taking phone orders Saturday until 5pm. Sunday from 1-5, and Monday beginning at 9am.

Daytona Advances to FSL Championships

[DAYTONA BEACH, FL] The Cubs scored early and piled on late in a rubber game route, 6-0. Hung-Wen Chen was dominant for Daytona in this one. Chen went six innings and did not allow any runs in the Cubs first round series win. Daytona will play in Fort Myers tomorrow night.

[DAYTONA BEACH, FL] Daytona entered Thursday’s game looking to complete a sweep against the Palm Beach Cardinals and win their first home playoff game at Jackie Robinson Ballpark. A four run fourth for the Cardinals proved to be Daytona’s undoing. The Cubs tried to rally in the ninth, but fell short and lost, 5-4.

Daytona Puts Away Jupiter to Advance to Playoffs

[JUPITER, FL] The Cubs entered Saturday with a chance to clinch the Florida State League East. Despite going up 9-1, the Cubs had to wait until Sunday because the game was suspended. But Daytona held steady Sunday and went on to win 9-1. They host game one of the FSL East playoffs at Jackie Robinson Ballpark at 7:05pm Tuesday.
